Voki
This week, we learned about Vokis. This is a program which lets you customize an avart and post it to your blog. This was a very interesting project, I never knew you could do something like that! I definetely would use this on my classroom blog when I start teaching. I think it would be an awesome way to introduce myself to the parents and students. Also it would be a great place for the students to go and check their homework for the week. This is a very interesting tool and I will definetely have to encorporate it into my teaching someday.

Great ! And imagine the fun kids can have creating their own avatar to deliver their book reports, etc.
ReplyDeleteDid your avatar pronounce your name correctly? (You have one like mine--people stumble over it all the time!) If so, that's reason enough to use it!
That's a great point I never thought of students being able to use it for projects and activities! And it did pronounce my name right, I was shocked!
